Charlies early career in Fashion saw her move from a stall selling vintage clothing at Portobello Market to travelling all over the world sourcing iconic vintage pieces for some of the worlds biggest brands and celebrities. Inevitably she was drawn to the world of Film and TV and after working on Music Videos and Commercials for over a decade, in 2014 Charlie transitioned into 'long form narrative' where she got her break and designed Season 4 of the hit E! Show The Royals. Charlie’s work can be seen on award winning shows such as: Responsible Child (BBC), Wild Bill (ITV) and This way up (Channel 4) as well as; The Girl Before where Charlie gained critical acclaim, for her stylish designs on the psychological thriller for HBO MAX, starring Gugu Mbarta Raw and David Owyeleo.

Most recently The Flatshare for Paramount+ showcases her innovative approach to character driven costume design, in an age where trends are being born out of film and television, her ability to create a compelling fashion story which is grounded in reality has received rave reviews.

Charlie is passionate about sustainability, the costumes for "This way up" and "Flatshare" were almost entirely sustainably sourced. Charlie tries to incorporate an ethical approach to her work wherever possible both physically and mentally.
